Today I came across a haven for antique lovers! This amazing store has everything from expensive antiques, to cheap salvaged goods! I was so intrigued and spent almost 2 hours in General Salvage, rummaging through all of their old windows in search of a specific style of window for a mirror project! The country chic soul inside of me ached for a piece from the past with a useful twist! After a while in the back tent, picking through dozens of windows, I came a cross an item one of the employees had made. And it was perfect! I instantly fell in love and bought it, along with some antique knobs to act as 'coat hooks' (only a buck a piece!).
I plan on finding a power drill and putting the pieces together this weekend! Cannot wait to upload a picture of the final product! If you like what you see then you will love General Salvage; my new, once a week shop stop! Enjoy!
